I’m excited about the show this weekend!  It’ll be a great opportunity to make a start on Christmas shopping, before the craziness of December.   It’s only 43 days until Christmas <eek!>

Over 50 of Edmonton’s local hip designers are going to be at the Transalta Arts Barn from Friday to Sunday this weekend. 

Here’s what the show website says:

Pizzazz strives to encourage consumers to choose one-of-a-kind and functional gifts rather than thoughtless purchases from faceless corporations. The Pizzazz philosophy is one of promotion of local artists, artisans and small businesses at the same time as boosting community spirit by supporting local charities, including:
- Edmonton Food Bank
- Weekend to End Women’s Cancers
- Girl Guides of Canada
- Elizabeth Fry Society Edmonton
- Alpha Rhythmic Gymnastics Club
- Duke and Duchess Animal Rescue
- Grandmothers for a New Generation (GANG)

I love that they are supporting so many causes, while at the same time providing a kick-ass show at an awesome location!
